If you have damaged or lost your card.
If the defect is not your fault (e.g. manufacturing defect, wear and tear, faded photo) or in the event of a name change, the card will be replaced free of charge. Further information can be found here.

Please note:
- If the photo needs to be replaced, please note this under "Comment" during the checkout process. After placing your order, send the new photo by email to: kartenbuero@ad.uzh.ch Please state the order number in the email.
- When shipping by mail, the replacement card will be sent to the address on file.
- When a new card is issued, the old card will be automatically blocked and can no longer be used.
- Students enrolled in a mobility program for minor study programs or module mobility do not receive a UZH Card. It's not possible to place an order.
- New students at the University automatically receive their UZH Card by mail at the beginning of the semester after completing matriculation and paying their semester fees.
